Episode 12

Lahari Parchuri from University of Sheffield - Managing enterprise in university and what can Sheffield's startup ecosystem do better

Published on: 7th March, 2021

Sheaf Valley: A show about Sheffield's startups is a podcast created to support Sheffield's startup ecosystem by giving a platform for startup founders or employees, investors or any stakeholders and increase the visibility for local businesses.

In this episode I spoke with Lahari, an Enterprise Manager at University of Sheffield. Lahari started her role right before the Covid-19 pandemic and has had a strange but productive year. Now a pre-accelerator project has started at Uni of Sheffield and Lahari shares more about it with us, but also talks about books and what is needed for one to succeed as an entrepreneur.

Sheaf Valley is supported by Sheffield Technology Parks, a local organisation supporting startups wih incubation projects, office space, tailored advice and more.

Connect with my personal account on LinkedIn or follow me on Twitter here and take part in the giveaway which starts on Monday. I'm giving out two books from the ones that guests recommended.

Visit my website to learn about the projects I'm testing.
