AROUND THE UK: Lucy Blackley from Bombyx PLM - Product Lifecycle Management and Hull's startup ecosystem

'Sheaf Valley: A show about Sheffield's startups' is a podcast dedicated to Sheffield's startup ecosystem aiming to increase the visibility of startups and startup organisations in our city. 'Sheaf Valley' is supported by Sheffield Technology Parks, one of the integral parts of Sheffield's ecosystem.

In this new rubric, 'Around the UK', I'm talking with founders from other cities in the UK to get their unique insights on their ecosystems and learn about new interesting businesses. The first episode is with Lucy Blackley, founder of Bombyx PLM. Lucy comes from a fashion background and Bombyx PLM was created after she identified how a lot of time goes into admin tasks and this time could be better utilised in solving way more important problems like sustainability and ethics in manufacturing.
