Episode 8

Sheffield's Tech For Good: Steve Rimmer from Tickets for Good - Social enterprise and what's more important: mission or profit?

Published on: 29th January, 2021

Sheaf Valley: A show about Sheffield's Startups is a podcast that gives platform to the Steel City's exciting founders, investors and startup ecosystem stakeholders to talk about their businesses and organisations, increase the connectedness of the ecosystem and raise awareness about the great ventures that are being started in Sheffield.

In episode 8 I spoke with Steve from Tickets For Good, a startup trying to give everyone a chance to have a great experience at concerts, festivals, plays, etc. Tickets for Good is part of Bethnal Green Ventures, a leading accelerator for tech-for-good startups and Steve shares insights into that journey but also reveals what are the biggest differences between building a mission-driven startup in Sheffield and London.
