Published on: 11th December, 2020

Sheaf Valley: A show about Sheffield's Startups is a podcast that gives platform to the Steel City's exciting founders to talk about their businesses, increase the connectedness of the startup ecosystem and raise awareness about the great ventures that are being started in Sheffield.

In episode 3 Adiam Amanuel, founder of 721, tells us her story full of travelling around the world, entering the world of entrepreneurship without a lot of background to the moment of creating her own startup back in Sheffield. With the main focus being on events, Adiam and her team had to make a lot of tough decisions in regards to the pandemic outburst in 2020 but her vision for 721 is too big for any pandemic to falter.

Adiam also shares what it is like to be a woman and a person of colour founder as both groups are underrepresented. Of course we talk about books and many more so tune in to hear it all!
